This 1 for 1 Trade Proposal has been making the rounds lately, and seems to be relatively pleasing to both fan bases.

Kupari is a young Center with good size (and is also a Fin, which could be helpful to Kakko) that would look great down the middle.

Robertson is a large LHD (most of the Kings D Prospects are Righties) whose stock had soared this past year.

Both teams grab a quality player at a position of need. While simultaneously cringing a bit about the quality player they have to give up (the true sign of a good swap).

Makes 10x more sense than an Eichel trade. And let's face it, we are all sick of seeing those proposals.

Rangers fans try and lowball an offer. Sabres fans asking for the moon. No middle ground ever established. Tiresome.

While I like Robertson, the Rangers are giving up much less for Kupari than they would for Eichel. While also avoiding that $10M Cap hit that he carries with him.

We are in the middle of a youth movement, and it feels fantastic. Let's get out of the "New York" mindset of trading everyone away when things are going good, for someone else's overpriced star. Trying to speed things up, and then ruining a wonderful thing.
