I'm sorry, but the KHL is not stable at all. More than one team have been notorious for not paying their players (i.e. Slovan Bratislava HC just this season). The KHL is just a mess with semi-decent talent. Call it what it is.

I think he was just having fun with some players he thinks would consider moving to the khl if they dont get signed in the future

It was a mock scenario of who I can see leaving the NHL for the KHL. The KHL is very unstable. They're talking about contracting by 10 teams.
