None of the leagues camera angles could 100% conclude that the puck was in the net. Holtby did a good job of hiding it.

2 different angles showed it in. I would imagine the net cam did as well but they never showed it... weird. I think the fact that after trying to drag it out that holtby reached down and pulled it out of the net should have been pretty clear.

In general you have to love the type of loser it takes to say "we" about any sports team in general. The only people I hate more than the "we" crowd is the "my Maple Leafs" or "can't wait to see MY Oilers play".

I think the ref new he made the wrong call with Marner pointing at it but once a call is made the guys upstairs need to review with video and as you correctly state, there just wasn't an angle that could show conclusive evidence. Oh well move on.

Unfortunately that's now how it works though. The call on the ice was no goal and the video needs to conclusively show the puck in the net before the whistle and I really don't think any shot would have proven it. The refs looked like they knew they missed one there but that happens.
