The Columbus trade is horrible for Columbus. Your dumping Neal and koskonen in a trade for laine and Elvis. Nowhere close to what the ask would be and the price to get those assets.

Too many moving parts on trades. Columbus trade is not plausible. Glendening for a 3rd or 4th is probably the most plausible trade.

So we know edmonton wont trade 3 1st round picks at 1 deadline and broberg on top of that. So maybe you could get someone to take some cap at the deadline but not all of your laundry.

He would be turn key beside Draisaitl and can probably be locked down to a mid term deal for good cap hit. He was a cancer but he got **** slapped when Edmonton traded him and he smartened up. If Edmonton can’t resign nuge which is plausible at this point he is a no brainer.
