At least its a different proposal...not sure Philly wants to retain 3.5mil for 3 yrs. Both Kerfoot and JVR get exposed by PHI, so kerfoot doesn;t add tons for the 10 games he'll play and then be picked in expansion or traded. PHI is actually paying 7mil for Kerfoot for the next 3 yrs if they keep him.

I like Topi and the 1st, thats quality, not sure Abruzzese adds anything, an unsigned 4th round guy, who wouldn;t factor into Phillys deeper prospect pool.

Overall a nice and different proposal, (and I get that TOR would have to clear Kerfoot to afford), but I cant see Philly paying out that $$$$ to acquire a 1st and Topi.

Philly would have no interest in trading JVR if they save nothing. I could see a deal being revisited at say 1.5 retained
