Ullmark isnt available. Even if he was dealt, he would resign in Buffalo since thats where his wife and kid are. Makes no sense to trade him cause then we'd be running Hutton and Tokarski which means a 20 game losing streak

I get that Ullmark might not want to leave but who cares if buffalo loses 10, 15, or 20 straight? they're the worst team in the league and everyone already knows it

I care because I cheer for the team. I dont want them to lose. We have already secured last place, may as well finish the season well.
Of this entire list, maybe 3 guys at most would be a target. That being Iafallo, Oleksiak, or Merrill. Other than that, none of them make sense for Toronto or have too high of a cap hit to make a deal work.

no hes availible, lets face it if he wanted to stay he would have signed a longer term deal, he signed a 1 year deal making him a UFA to leave Buffalo and go to a true contender. Buffalo is in tank mode so who cares if Hutton and Tokarski are the goalies, the teams goal RN is to try and get 1OA as they aint making the playoffs.

in general that teams goal is to try and get 1OA, not make the playoffs so who cares who the goalies are. Power, Eklund, Hughes, whoever goes 1OA is the goal for this team at present

He wanted to have a full year under his belt as starter to increase the amount he was paid. I also think Buffalo wanted to have him and Hutton expire at the same time, so they could evaluate the goaltending position and start fresh if needed
