Zito wins GM of the year, hands down. He actually convinced a college UFA to sign in Florida instead of anywhere else. Holy ****, it's usually the other way around

I'm pretty sure Zito promised Kiersted some NHL action this season, so that is likely why he signed here

Huge get for Florida. Really like Kiersted's game. One of the best Dmen in the NCAA this year, I really like his offensive skillset. Sees the game well. Hard to get too hyped on the upside College free agents have, but it think he's got the tools to be an NHL defender.
