Why would the Canucks do this? A great player on an ELC who can help them when they’re able to win is a lot more useful than a 2nd pairing defenseman.

But we're still not giving a first for fkin Cernak. So this trade is still trash.

I was talking about the 1st round pick when talking about the player on the ELC, since now I notice I definitely wasn’t clear on that.
