Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

Ekholm, Rielly, Muzzin, Brodie, and Holl can all do a rotation. When games get physical (playoffs), you can have two shutdown pairings and shelter the offensive defensemen in Rielly. When you need a goal and don't need a lot of physicalness, you can put Rielly on the top pairing, have a shutdown pairing in Muzzin and Ekholm, and have Holl and Bogosian on the third pairing. There is a lot of adjustments you can make during a game, Ekholm would be a good add

I'm very curious to hear the rational supporting the bolded part. It makes no sense to me, unless you feel Amirov is already a complete bust.

I get that, but Amirov is our third best prospect, and we just drafted him last year 15th overall. this is essentially giving up two firsts and a second, way more than what the leafs gave up to get Muzzin, who's arguably been the leafs best defensemen since the trade

you will when he's scoring goals and putting up points like crazy, and I'm not opposed to trading him but it should be for a better return than that
