No. I'm giving another player that Dubas signed a fair shot at doing something. As for Galchenyuk, he didn't even get him on waivers, he sent assets to get him - can he maybe get a game in?

I agree some answers to the Leafs need could be filled from within. IMO try Robertson on the 2nd line before you go out and get another top 6. I am a fan of Barabanov but it’s too soon for a top 6 role. Hopefully he comes back next year to play in the top 9.

Agree Galy would be a nice addition to the bottom 6. But I don’t think he is what Keefe wants as a 3C. Honestly I’d rather pair him with JT and Willy.

But who are we kidding, the Leafs season is riding in the balance of Freddie. It doesn’t matter at all if the Leafs add a top 6 fwd or a steady bottom pairing Dman. If Andersen can’t provide solid goaltending the Leafs chances of making a run are slim to none.

I agree 100% that Campbell is probably the key to everything. I'd hate like hell to give up assets to bring in more pieces up-front and get shown the door in the first round because our goalie got out-dueled.

I'm sure it was done with him being sent to the Marlies for conditioning in mind. The point is if you never had any intention of giving him a shot with the big club, why bother getting him at all.

Im not sold on Boyd much. Yes he provided some points but Barabanov was just a beast out there and looked really good. He deserves a goal and honestly I hope keefe brings him up cause man in those 2 calgary games next to Nylander he was on fire

We had 47 contracts at the time so we could have taken him, we wanted him to clear so we didnt have to do it later. Cap flexibility was the main goal

I still think he was ripped off an assist on Nylander's breakaway goal off the faceoff. But yes, he looked like he was really finding his game. I still don't really understand why he was sat, then demoted after that.
