2023 Mock Draft Full 1st Round

I really like this. Dvorsky, Ciernik, Molnar, Jencko, Sisik, Ridzon. Six Slovaks in the first round. It would be a wet dream of every Slovak fan. However, in my opinion, only the Dvorsky, Molnar and Ciernik trio really look like the first rounders for now. Jencko, Sisik and Ridzon currently look more like for the 2nd or 3rd round.

Bedard is a special player.

So is Michkov. I think it’s similar to 2015, with Berard as a slightly worse McDavid but Michkov as a slightly better Eichel. Fantilli will be better than Strome too

I personally have Bedard over Michkov for a bunch of reasons #1 Bedard is not afraid to throw the body every now and then #2 He has ELITE vision to see who's coming at him and make a split second decision and he's always 10 steps ahead of the other players #3 To me Michkov likes to play around the net too much and likes to do too much fancy moves like a Mitch Marner does but he does have the goal scoring touch of a young Ovi definitely that's why he's so breathtaking to watch but to me it's very close but all in all I think Connor Bedard is the more COMPLETE player than Matvei Michkov is they are 2 generational defining talents for sure and I for one can't wait to see them light it up in the NHL for years to come!

This top 3-4 is incredible. Michkov and Bedard look like the next Ovi and McDavid. Fantilli and Yager both looked very good for their teams this year. I think this draft will be the next contender to beat the 2015 class. If all goes right, Bedard, Michkov, Fantilli, and Yager could be better than McDavid, Eichel, Marner, Barzal/Rantanen/Connor.

I agree that these guys can be better than Eichel, Marner, Barzal, Rantanen and Connor but I don't think any of these guys will be better than McDavid. McDavid is the epitome of a 'Once In A Lifetime' player much better than a 'generational' type of player. McDavid does things that Gretzky Lemieux Crosby could never do and that's why I think Connor McDavid will be if not be the greatest player we have ever seen

I'd like to think though that Connor Bedard will be something of a generational player, he's been watched since he was like 10 and played insane against 15-17 year olds at age 13. The kids a phenom and he's definitely going to be good. I don't think he'll be McDavid but he plays very similar to him. He uses his speed and smarts to generate offense just like McDavid does.
