2 of the goals were just luck as how do u stop perfect far tips or predict the pucks gonna perfectly reflect off a leg.

the only goal he should have had was the Appelton one.

In truth Holl was garbage tonight and his poor play led to an ez goal for Konnor. I would have taken the penalty and killed it

In general our Dman tonight beside Brodie were terrible. Every time they passed Winnipeg just nabbed it.

As keefe preaches puck possession and not stretch passing is key.

U can tell hes gonna be having a long discussion with his Dman and especially Holl cause if he continues these bad habits Lehtonens coming in.

I like defending anderson too but he needs to come up bigger. the only reason we lost that game was because andersen got destroyed in the goaltending battle, leafs were the better team by far. He needs to start making big saves in big games or else dont resign him

no we lost because leafs made 2 bad decisions allowing for easy goals for Winnipeg. That Konnor goal was textbook WTF are u doing. Holl should have taken the penalty rather than just leave it for Konnor to get the easiest goal of his career. Than came the Rielly stretch pass, u dont do that ever. Babcock would often want players to do that and u know what that lead to Turnovers. Keefe said it numerous times he does not want stretch passes being a thing. He preached it with the marlies and up till tonight the leafs also had followed his puck possession rule.

Hellybuck played well but he also got support from his team. Freddie when helped was fine but when those 2 plays happened he was left for the wolves.

Ya youre probably right its easy to blame the goalie when the other goalie is on fire. I still would say he had a bad game, defence didnt bail him out but he didnt bail them out either

That is what I was thinking, as a Jets fan (Leafs are a strong second) I was thinking that it looked like Babcock still has a huge influence on this team. Any player (especially the D) that had played under Babcock was stretch passing. I realize when they work they are addicting, but play a highly skilled and physical team like the Jets and you are throwing yourself to the wolves. The Jets are built for the central division and you can definitely see it in this all Canadian division. The Jets play a hard, heavy game that is designed to wear the other team down and cause turnovers. Hence the Jets can create nightmares for the Leafs. I wonder if Keefe is going to start Campbell next game?

exactly STRETCH PASSING IS A NO NO especially in todays NHL game. Sure Washington won a cup using it against Vegas (shocked they never countered it) but rarely do u see strong teams use it. When I played hockey our Coach would bench us if we even attempted a stretch pass unless we saw the team was changing and could not get it.

Babcocks influence still is lodged in our players heads and when it comes out dam is it noticable.

only time I promote stretch passing is on the PK when the guy comes out of the box on a breakaway but thats it
