you know better than I, but how far out is Sanderson from an NHL game? overall exciting stuff coming in the next few years, the rebuild looks promising

I believe it was stated that he is spending 1 more year at UND after this one and then turning pro. So the 2022/23 season. I definitely respect Ottawa's rebuild, they've done a great job and could be a genuine contender within the next 5 years.

I like everything but I actually doubt Sanderson plays another year. Take out Murray and move up Brannstrom and put Sanderson on the 3rd pair. And Bernard Docker will be on the 3rd pairing too

Apologies, I thought I read somewhere that he was for sure playing another year at UND. I wasn't quite sure where the defensive prospects faired so I was conservative and started them in the AHL. If they are ready, even better!

Bernard Docker will have played 3 years in the NCAA similar to Fabbro and Fox and more than K’Andre Miller. Will definitely be ready.

Looks pretty good for the most part. I wouldn't be breaking up Stützle and Batherson though. Insane chemistry there.

I'm open to Gudbranson returning, but not for that kind of money, and not to be a regular in the lineup. He'd be a good extra D, but I wouldn't have him in more of a role than that. Ottawa has Jacob Bernard-Docker coming next season who will be ready to go. Unfortunately Ottawa already has Josh Brown likely to be in that role.

I really like the idea of signing a good defensive LD to a short term deal. I would take Ryan Murray in a heartbeat, but he might be too valuable to sign a 2 year deal. I really think getting a guy who can eat up defensive minutes, and teach JBD how to do the same makes a lot of sense. I'd move Brannstrom to the 2nd pair with Zub and have DFD with Bernard-Docker. Also Zub definitely gets more than 1×1. He's been great, and Russian free agents always get bigger deals, because you have to contend with the KHL in negotiations.
