Skinner + Pilut (LD) - good season in the KHL for Vlasic + Donato

Honestly? Not awful. But obviously Donato > Pilut at this point and is Skinner's contract really that much better than Vlasic?

I am Swede and i like Pilut but i dont think he is what Sharks need. the Sharks need a physical defenseman and Pilut not really that. He is having a great year in KHL and i was surprised that Buffalo didnt give him a better chance since he has performed when he has been in playing. But sure, not really impressed with Donato either and i think Donato, Vlasic and Skinner need a change of scenery...

I have no idea, but if Vlasic is already cleaned up, plus he's more old than Skinner, then Jeff doesn't play badly, but he's in the coach's dog house.



It's not that Buffalo doesn't want to give him a chance, it's just that Pilut doesn't want to play Buffalo after our idiot GM ruined the situation.

I think if you swapped what SJ is sending in the MTL and PHI trades they would make a lot more sense

That’s a fair assessment but despite Skinner’s doghouse situation, he’s still making 2M more for an extra year which is pretty brutal as well. I just don’t think SJ should be adding that much more value here that BUF. Granted I don’t know a ton about Pilut, but Donato is probably worth a 2nd-ish on his own.

No, that's not a problem, we could just trade Vlasic for Skinner without Donato and Pilut, I just suggested the idea.
