I think it is a 24-32 first round pick in a shallow draft, Pelletier is likely a B - B+ prospect at best, and Bennett has similar value to Max Jones.

Rakell is a piece that fits, is the core age of this team, shoots right and has had one full season under 40 points. It is an immediate upgrade to the roster as it is, loses a left shot prospect that will be pushed to the wing where there is plenty of depth and a late first, that doesn't seem that steep at all.

That was my thinking, Jones and Bennett is a wash but the salary difference definitely benefits Calgary, Rakell for a late 1st and B - B+ prospect seems like a fair deal in my mind.

Ohh, I got a lot of time for that.. I don't think Nashville moves their big big pieces just yet though, they have cap space to move a bit and see if they can win with this core still. I think that Fordberg, Arvidsson, Josi, Ellis, Ekholm all stay put until at least the draft.
