Could cause some cap troubles down the road but Bowman could get creative.

Curious what you think with regards to value?

Wild say no. Trading with Chi is worse that trading with the Avs.

If you're not going to deal because of a division rival that's bad management. If the deal sucks, that's another thing.

Not unless it's a clear win in a trade for a longterm player. 5 reg season games, possibly 7 Playoff games for years to come. A TDL rental for picks, minor player swaps are fine.

Dumba for prospects isn't a win. You lose a trade like this it impacts your team more than the same trade to a team in the other Conference. Not just for the games played against each other, but in the Divisional standings too.

Would you rather lose him to Vegas for nothing?

Yes with the way the Wild are built. Wild still keep 4 top-4 dmen, guessing Wild bribe Vegas to take Scandella, or trade Dumba somewhere East.

I don't think ARI makes the Duclair deal. They're more likely going to wait for him to develop (and hope...), or at least not sell low.

As a Hawks fan I pass on the Toronto trade.
