its time for a change for both sides, Damon is a great person and a great devil so im being a little to hard on him. I just think he makes to many questionable plays, hes been a top 4 defenseman with top 2 reasonability's on the devils, fit him somewhere where he doesnt have to be front and center, he would really benefit playing in Winnipeg.

Yeah... Last season he was a detriment to both to 5 on 5 defense and on the PK, according to HockeyViz heat maps. He was good before though. Nowhere near top 20 in the league though, lol. 1IX2dU0

NJD should not do any deal for Erickson.

Nor should they deal their best d-man for someone to help PK.

And huge overpay for Pesce. (If that is the price for Pesce, why wouldn’t NJD expect that or more for Severson).

Carolina aren't going to trade a top 20 D man for futures and scraps. It's going to have to start with a center who's last name starts with the letter H.... it's a ridiculous overpay, but Waddell has straight up said Pesce is untouchable.

we have the cap, if vancover wanted to do a first for his contract why wouldnt we, I cant see us spending that money until jack and ty are due to get paid and we have enough to resign anyone we need.

& agreed it is an outrageous price for Pesce but my trades were laughed at by canes fans. Severson is not worth much more than what we got, one for one with out McLeod than sure, i just didn't think Ani fans would let go of Rekell without taking a roster player to fill his spot.

I added later in response to someone asking about Damon, Its a personal reason why i feel so strongly against him and im willing to trade for anything really. I know that most Devils fans want him around but for me, his time is up.

Time to let him go to a bigger market where he will blend into the shadows, he does to much here in Jersey he's just to overextended here

Severson has been our best defensemen all year. Gusev/Zajac I agree with. We can't leave wood unprotected. We have to get more value back on some of these trades
