Description
Definitely think that this team would win a playoff round if not two. Also sets them up for a couple of seasons. While they are going to have to give McDavid and Draisatl anywhere up to $14 million combined, they should still have room to resign Shattenkirk, and then Trouba and Puljujarvi in the upcoming offseasons. Also get good leadership and scoring at a low price with Pacioretty.

They get a lot more speed and puck movement with this group, and I wouldn't be surprised if a team like this could seriously challenge for the Western Conference title.

The changes are nice, but just like the current Oilers roster, any playoff advancement hopes would ride on whether Talbot is hot or cold.

The EDM-MTL trade is so bad it's actually hysterical.

And Larsson's value is a lot higher than you think it is.

Maybe? To bad it will never happen considering that Shattenkirk already turned down a long term deal with Edmonton hence the Hall for Larsson deal and no way does that get you Trouba you want Trouba and Klefbom is going the other way here.
