I wouldn't worry about the silly 1 C designation. If the top three centres play to their potential, Flames are good at centre. IMO the wingers are the weakness of the team. Many have to overachieve to make Calgary a true threat.

Agree to both comments. If the top three centres play to their potential they are good. In my opinion I don’t think Gaudreau is sticking around once he hits FA in 2022. I would like to see a strong RW picked up, but who is actually available? And what are we giving up to get it? Someone like Reinhart from Buffalo, and Gaudreau is more likely to resign there than Calgary, but it’s unlikely a trade like that happens during this season.
