There’s 0 need to sign mrazek when you have Francouz, don’t need a 3 goalie rotation. Also, not sure why Seattle would take donskoi over Graves or Toews. Colorado would have to pay a hefty price to keep them off of those two.

If the Avs buy out Erik Johnson or he waives his NMC, then they can protect Makar, Girard, and Toews. It's the most likely scenario. Joe isn't letting go of Toews after trading two second-round picks for him.

I agree on Mrazek, no need. Might be a little high on Landy too. I think he's more in the $7 million range considering COVID. You also don't need to sign Perreault or Ryan as they'd have Bowers and Kaut to fill in. Newhook likely makes the team as well.

They don't need them though, all of their young guys have been in the league since they were 18. They've been there and done that. Sure, you can sign a 33-35 guy to play 4th line minutes, but he'd better be able to play quickly because that's their game. Bowers and Kaut are legit being groomed to be solid bottom-6 role players, and they'll be ready when the time comes.

You’re not going to have many better options than Graves on a great deal. He’s definitely a better choice than Donskoi, you can find a better winger elsewhere.

Do you know this team at all? Every single player outside of the true rookies has multiple playoff run experiences and even the rookies in Byram, Timmins Bowers were with the team in the bubble. Who exactly is lacking ‘experience’?
