You have to take into account that we won't have the goalie for two weeks due to quarantining. We will be missing a real starter for at least 5 games

Leafs would get eliminated in the 1st round with that Goaltending duo.

Campbell could easily handle 5 games, he was drafted 11th overall once and he looks like a late bloomer thats gonna bloom this year

Campbell started when quick was out and he posted the best numbers of his career

Kuemper has never been a starter other than ONE season and is overrated af (and only a few moths younger than Andersen). that also applys to Korpisalo. never been a starter but is younger. Also both goalies that you mentioned are benifited by playing behind good defences and defencive systems something that Toronto doesnt have

I didnt say they were only considering those two, i said they were among the options. if you have a reccomdation i would love to hear it

keep Andersen is my opinion. the best option is to improve the defence to HELP ANDERSEN

If Freddie has played poorly enough for TOR to trade him and keep Dell as the backup, we won't garner that return.

One could argue, Andersen isn't the goalie to get a team out of the first round either. Although I don't think he's been entirely to blame nor should he be thrown under the bus yet. I would be shocked if he doesn't play Monday. If he plays poorly Campbell will get the next and if he plays well, Campbell may get the start anyways. To think Campbell can't be a starter is a tad ridiculous. He's done well the past several years and has very good pedigree. Sometimes all you need is an opportunity.

While I agree Campbell could flourish, Andersen isn't getting traded. He is definitely a good goalie still and I think he won't be starting 70% of the games this year. Possibly just over 50%. Relying on Campbell and Dell would be a mistake although if the Leafs can keep their opponents under 20 shots a game like they did last night it may not matter.

I think we'll see a much better defensive system once we are on mid season form. I'd wager there will be many games where the Leafs hold similar shot shares like last night. 40-19 is pretty impressive. That is how they are supposed to play. Get the puck, keep the puck and overwhelm the other team. Murray had a hell of a game and he could have let in 5 goals and still looked unreal. This is what TO is supposed to do, remember that one game against Florida where they held them to 2 shots from outside the Blueline for 30 minutes? (They did lose that, but mainly because Hutchinson let in 4 3rd period goals on 7 shots or some BS like that.).

This is the usual manic response on capfriendly. I called it Friday night, I posted "If campbell wins this is going to be when more unbearable".

They have to put him on waivers first. But everything is always easy for the Oilers right? Their terrible defence will be great because it added Barrie but lost Klefbom. Koskinen is a darkhorse Vezina winner who looks exactly as average as everyone outside of Edmonton has been saying and your depth has scored exactly as many goals as everyone outside of Edmonton predicted, but they are easily the best team in Canada and will definitely win the cup.

Oilers are not doing that unless you throw Nylander in that deal. That deal is brutal. And you can take James the real deal Neal and a few other crap contracts
