I'm with you on this, dawg. I can't stand intolerant people. It gives me the creeps. But you probably have a lot of players supporting this kind of stuff in nhl and other leagues, and ya can't start doing witch hunt.

DeAngelo makes it easy, and anyone who follows him will likely also make it easy. No witch hunt necessary. I'm just happy that the Leafs have no tolerance for this sort of attitude. They have on more than one occasion put in much bigger efforts than necessary to champion inclusiveness. Like when Rielly was accused of using a homophobic slur, it was proven false and instead of just letting it die then, they used it as an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of stamping out homophobia. A guy like DeAngelo wouldn't ever get brought into the franchise, because his attitude would be deemed counter to the ideals of the franchise. More clubs need to make hard lines on these issues.
