I think Zboril-Miller is more likely. Senyshyn is probably waived looking at the lines so Lindholm as 13th F. Vladar for Booth.

So far every practice session has featured Grz w/ Carlo and Lauzon w/ McAvoy

I’m sure they’ll experiment with a bunch of stuff in camp, but i do expect grzelcyk to get the top pair job. I would also be absolutely blown away if neither Vaakanainen or Zboril are in the lineup. Seems like the whole point of this off season was to give those guys a shot.

I’m guessing bjork and ritchie wind up switching, but i really hope they just give up on the ritchie debacle and demote him.

-From reports, Moore has looked good at camp and Zboril has kind of just been meh. Cassidy even referred to Zboril as "wildcard" which doesn't bode well. Not saying it won't happen because its logical to think Zboril/Miller as a pairing. I think it'll come down to him or Moore and who earns it.

-Lindholm is more likely to clear waivers than Senyshyn is and to start the season I'm sure Vladar will be the taxi squad goalie but when the AHL opens, I expect he and Swayman to split time.

They haven't done much experimenting if you look at the combos over the first 3 days. The only question marks seem to be whose going to be the 4LW (Bjork or Frederic) and what's the 3rd pairing. Miller by all accounts looks to be strong and skating fine, so I imagine they'll want his toughness on the backend + he give them another RH PK option. Zboril would have been my first thought on the 3rd pair, but from what I've read he hasn't really wow'd in camp. Vaak doesn't require waivers, so I imagine he'll end up in Providence when they open.

What i meant was, I’m guessing the first three days of camp IS experimentation.

and I don't have him scratched. Yes its day 3, but this isn't a traditional camp. There is no pre-season games and they kick the season of a week from tomorrow.

Well a smart guy like you then realizes then that there really isn't room for experimenting due do the shorted camp.

Logic would indicate to me that a lot of the experimenting done in pre season games would now take place in camp, especially with so many questions marks on the left side.

and Logic to me would indicate that you're going to have a completely new top 4 pairings and they need as much time together as possible to build chemistry.

Zboril appears to look good today. Obviously, we're three days into camp so we'll see. Agreed for Lindholm/Senyshyn, I just think it's more likely 19 is waived/26 is kept but I hope the opposite happens.

I hope Zboril keeps it up because I'd love to see him take that 3rd pairing role. TWD that has some nasty to his game is what we need on the backend.

Right, because he's been on the 2nd pairing in camp with Carlo, but he's been in camp.

According to Fluto, the taxi squad will be Booth, Carey, Kampfer, & McKegg. Maybe they use the other two spots but those 4 are virtual locks for the squad. The want guys that dont need reps. They want the younger guys playing in the A to gain experience. The point of the taxi squad is to be bodies for practice and emergency fill ins for COVID related absences.

Right, but until the A opens up it's better for the younger guys development to be able to skate and practice with the team.
