IMO you don't need to add Tatar if you do it's not worth it. Danault and PLD have very similar numbers both regular and advanced stats. PLD is younger and has a higher ceiling but after 3 years in the NHL he has not shown he is capable of hitting that ceiling. Therefore Danault + Harris = PLD's value right now. Adding an unprotected 1st covers the risk to Columbus in case he does break out later. Adding more means weakening Montreal too much IMO.

Then, I would add another pick (2nd or 3rd) so they take Byron and make the trade work cap wise this year and the next ones too

They won't take Byron and we don't need to pay to dump him. Trading Kulak to someone like the Rangers for a 4th this season is enough to cover PLD this season. Trading Edmundson or Chiarot + 2nd to Seattle for a 7th ensures we don't lose Allen and free up an additional 3.5 Mil. We can make the cap work quite easily.

No it wouldn't. An even swap like that wouldn't make sense. Danault has very similar numbers so they obviously decision would be him a prospect and a pick. Which is what the trade above is. I think it's a slight over pay buy that's what it would take to get him out of Columbus.

But dumb comments from you on hab topics are pretty normal on this site. Lol. Not sure why you comment on them so much with all that hatred

PLD >>> Danault. It isn’t even close. Suzuki is only a year younger than PLD and isn’t even close to PLD yet so it would easily be Suzuki+. I comment on so many habs posts because bias fans like you are ridiculous and need to be called out. It’s so annoying/ frustrating reading these delusional comments.

I'm not sure if you dont fully read and just cant comprehend what other people are saying. For example Suzuki's value via trade is equal to PLD and they both play center. KK's ceiling is very similar to PLD and they both play center. So why would they make an equal swap in terms of value? They could, but definitely any trade would not need to include them. Especially with all the younger talent the habs have in terms of prospects.

And I agree in terms of value Danault isnt the same as PLD, mostly due to where they were drafted and age. But his numbers are close enough that if you add a grade A prospect and 1st rounder that it's more than fair.

So what exactly did I say as a habs fan to be considered delusional in the above statement? Legit man, you hate them so much that every comment you make on here regarding them is so inaccurate and uneducated. I know you're still mad the habs outplayed your pens in the play-in, but you got to let that go lol.

No it really doesnt start with Suzuki. If that what columbus would require, suzuki +, then thats the end of the call and we dont have to worry about it.
I wouldnt even gave the original offer theres not enough of an upgrade from danault to dubois to justify a top prospect and a 1st on top of that.

You think I’m mad because Habs beat the pens? I’ve seen many playoff disappointments I have no anger at MTL. I have
issue with Habs fans (or any fan base but I find habs and leafs are the worst) overrating their players. Suzuki value isn’t
Equal to PLD. PLD is only a year older yet look at his career numbers. He’s got a way higher ceiling and he’s already the better player. If you seriously think you’re getting PLD for anything less than Suzuki+ you’ve lost it

Have you actually looked at the comparison? A way higher ceiling? Lol. 41pts to 49 pts last year ( because that's only intangible you can comment on) and Suzuki played bottom minutes for half the year. And he is a year younger and that was his rookie year lol. So if that's your argument that you surely are mistaken. PLD and Suzuki are completely even in terms of value. Both are projecting to be bottom end number 1 centers whether you like it or not. Your hatred bias towards the habs doesn't change values buddy. It also doesn't change previous comments. Respond to the actual comment and dont just generalize an entire fan base unless the actual comment is dumb an uneducated. I don't say all Pens fans are dumb and overvalue their players because of your unjustified constant dumb comments. Case by case by friend.

Your comments are actually so bad and add nothing for me. Enjoy being on my ignore list. PLD the year before (Suzuki’ same age) had 61 points. He’s a big bodied centre who can take over a game. Suzuki may project to be a low end 1C but PLD already is a low end 1C and could probably turn into a very solid 1C. You’re right about generalizing though. Your posts suck, but there are some good habs fans on here who don’t deserve to be generalized. Thank you for pointing that out to me.

Sweet threat of putting me on your ignore list lol. It would force me to have conversations with guys more educated on the NHL. I just looked at your profile, over 6 comments a day! What a loser lol
