Bit optimistic. I know VAN will likely have to move on from Edler eventually but they have been demanding higher end prospets++ for awhile now. Kap is a nice piece but no sure thing.

Holland and Hunwick won't get you a 3rd but trading them for anything at this point would be wise.

I don't mind the end result, but please take polak out of the top 4...

Trouble is RHD Carrick is taken out of the top four, traded for Elder who plays LHD, Not an real solution to upgrade the Dmen,

I don't see the Leafs making a deal like this. Edler is on the wrong side of 30 and to give up two solid young pieces in Kapanen and Carrick goes against the rebuild. Grenier is a solid piece, however. I only see guys like Kapanen and Carrick being moved for young, high potential defencemen such as Dougie Hamilton.
