Way too much value that is going to Tampa, at least for now.

The trade is about equal Schneider=Foote, Panarin=Kucherov, Point + 4th= Lafreniere + 2nd sure the value is a little bit on the rangers side but Lafreniere will become better than Point most likely

Idk, its pretty close. Kucherov and Panarin are about equal, but Kucherov is 2 million cheaper. Point and Lafreniere are probably going to be in similar ranges, but Point is a center and already a proven commodity. I would assume that when they expire they are going to be on similar contracts. Difference is, Kucherov and Point just won a cup. I know its not a tangible quality, but many different people say that general managers think about "cups in the room"

Interesting, but the Rangers kinda sell out before there build is complete, video game trade without factoring in leadership and situations. Rangers going to be one entertaining team ahead, and a slight retool with Tampa and they in the mix for another 3/5 years.
