I like the Carolina trade but idk if they’d do it exactly. I do really like Suzuki tho

Both trades are solid (if you count the expansion draft as a trade). Just not sure Carolina takes that.

Carolina doesn't have the cap space to make this trade & then sign Svech/Hamilton. As it stands now (without any scratches/taxi squad cap hit) they're about $2M under the cap and probably wouldn't be able to take on the increased salary this year. Even if the cap hit worked, don't think Carolina gives up this much for Couture.

I fine w/ Couture & Hertl as 1,2 Cs, because we have a ton of Cs besides them right now, I'm just waiting for the cream to rise to the top. There are plenty of cadidates.
