Dude, this is horrendous. Teams don’t trade players they just signed as free agents. Teams also don’t ever sign a player off an entry level deal to a contract that takes them a year or two into UFA status, that’s throwing away all your leverage and ability to retain the player you drafted and developed. Also, go look at some past NHL trade and see that nobody throws in a bunch of random picks like this. One last thing, Oshie is not bad, but that value is about 6x in Washington’s favor.
