I highly doubt Montreal plans on running a 21 man roster, with 22 they are currently over the cap

If that deal presents itself it’s a sure bet mtl would take it I think. We would have to move kulak and Weal which are both doable. I think Kulaks contract is easy to move and Weal could be sent to the minors or just cost a late pick to unload.

Dallas declines. In the short-term, that's a more expensive, lateral move. In the long-term, Kiviranta has the potential to be a middle-6 winger for the Stars, so long-term this is a downgrade for the Stars.

Tampa declines with almost no hesitation, they don't want a 1.4 million player when they still need to try and sign sergachev, cirelli, and cernak with only 2.9 in cap space. And if you wanted you could get more for tuch.
