The Buffalo trade only occurs:
A) At the trade deadline, and B) If the sabres are completely out of contention.
If both occur, then yes I can see that as a real possibility.

They're solid NHLers (melker not quite) for league minimum who provide quality depth during an intense season and playoff run. As well allowing them to insulate young guys like Bryam hopefully helping their development. More useful depth the merrier.

also Athanasiou as a 3c? Hes awful at playing C and he is really bad defensively that is why he is left unsigned multiple weeks after being a UFA. Hes not good at all in a bottom 6 role and hes not good enough to be in a top 6 role on a good team

Corey Perry shoudlnt come anywhere near this team, what an awful hockey player. Hes not fast enough/good enough of a skater or smart enough to play for Bednar

I can't get on board paying that price for a rental. Avs are planning on Timmins on the right side at a reasonable price for years to come. To me, the smarter move is in bolstering the bottom-6 or in net.
