You’re gonna have to give up an asset or draft pick to get rid of Engvall. It’s too late in free agency, draft has passed, and most teams rosters are complete. Most teams are out of cap space too. Especially, in this flat cap year. Nate Schimit only brought back a 3rd. No wanted T.Johnson for free. Nothing in return. Andreas Johnson only brought back Joey Anderson(although I like Joey Anderson’s potential as a bottom 6).

To put him on waivers is your best bet. But most teams have 4th line, depth forwards in their sytem they like better than Engvall. And definitely have cheaper options. But a team would probably grab him cause he’s waiver exempt and they can just put him in the minors. Or Toronto can just bury his contract in the minors until the trade deadline and he might have more value and interest when teams have more cap room and need an injury replacement.

I would not have Lehtonen scratched over Sandin. Go view his stats and highlights rn in the KHL, I think then you may want to make some changes. Overall, pretty tight roster for this upcoming season

NHL is a bit different to then the KHL, no doubt he'll be a go-to top 4 if not top 2 in the future. I hope he plays well when he comes over

Yes, different in a way where it's actually harder to go over a point per game, which is the pace Lehtonen is currently at. You rarely see KHL players or any European League players go a point per game or over.
I think you'll get goosebumps watching this guy, do yourself a favor man, and enjoy his highlights. I definitely recommend it. He currently has 8G 8A for 16PTS as we speak.
