Leafs have absolutely no incentive to make this kinda deal. Marner is staying, he's a over ppg player that hasn't even reached his prime on a contending team. You've offered 2 slightly above average players that really don't fit in Toronto. Rakell would take Marner's spot and is a massive downgrade from Marner. So it's basically giving up Marner for a glorified d-man who's had 1 good season in his career and the rest are average. Just because he shoots right, doesn't mean Toronto wants him. Dubas has made that more than clear. For his price tag and fact that he'd walk in a couple seasons, that's an easy no.
Anaheim doesn't have the assets to pry Marner outta Toronto. It would take quite the overpayment and would start with Lindholm and a 1st. Anaheim probably adds a pretty good prospect in the deal too.
