Ottawa upgrades on their #7D, saves $500k in actual cash-dollars, and eeks ever-closer to the cap floor.
Sharks fans have wanted Sorensen gone for what seems like moons now, and Edmonton's been looking into a RW-LW swap involving Chiasson. A bit of cap off the books for Edmonton, and a more productive forward for the Sharks. Makes more sense than the Bjork rumours at least.
Swap of minor-league contracts with Chicago, and frees up the starter's net for Rodrigue in Wichita.
Lagesson is green, but has routinely showed a strong defensive game and has the ability to move his feet and make the first pass. In my eyes, there isn't enough separation between him and guys like Koekkoek to justify adding another contract to the 50-man list. His game would be balanced out by giving Bear more minutes on the defensive side of the puck to round out his budding two-way game. Is Barrie the sexy fit for #1RD? Probably not, but he's much more familiar with 20min+ at the NHL level than Bear is. Jones becomes the only defender that's truly tasked with elevating his game: if Edmonton looks to add at the deadline, I expect it'll be at LD.
Duclair rounds out the scoring for this team, and I'd expect Puljujarvi to be playing #2RW by game 20 of the season.
McDavid, Draisaitl, RNH, Yamamoto, Puljujarvi, Duclair, Turris / Nurse, Jones, Bear / Koskinen protected during expansion. I think Klefbom might actually retire, given that arthritis is a massive hurdle to overcome, and he still has 50+ years to live on this rock. Neal's bought out and Kassian becomes a member of the Kraken.
Feel like signing a LHD like Kulikov to a cheap 1-2 year deal would really benefit the Oilers other then that looks good.
The only thing Kulikov has done that Lagesson couldn't/hasn't is play multiple seasons at the NHL already. Seems excessive, especially a two-year deal. Who goes when Broberg is pushing for a roster spot?

Because the Oilers are going to lose a LHD in the expansion draft as is. The 2 year isn't excessive also gives the Oilers the option at 4-4-1 protection option leaving Kulikov as the required exposed Dman. What has Kulikov done over Lagesson.. well Kulikov averaged 20 minutes a night with 37% against elites last season with a 51% corsi. This is an insurance move if Jones doesn't step up and with the cheap contracts going around risking your season on 2 young inexperienced players would be a mistake.
