Under normal circumstances yes but TB isn't really in a position of leverage, I gave them my 1C, my top RD prospect and 2nd best LD prospect. It is what it is.

First Detroit isn't going to trade Mantha any time soon. That being said there is absolutely no way Yzerman and Drouin will ever be on the same team again. Gallagher doesn't have a lot of value from Detroit point of view since he is in the final year of his contract and at 28yrs old Detroit won't be good enough for him to stay. Byron is 31 and his production has dropped for the 4th straight season and since Detroit already enough bottom 6 forwards they really don't need any more. Detroit isn't going to give up their most talented player for this package. I'm ignoring the draft picks because it is ludicrous to think a team is going to give up that many picks for one player.

I got the supply of picks to give them up. If you want I'll give the picks and keep the players.

Yes they are, if they put any of those RFA's on the block they will get 25 phone calls in the first half hour. They have all the leverage in the world if trading those players.

Ofcourse. But if they want to repeat then they'll want primarely someone that could replace Cirelli and Killorn. Not saying Fleury can immidiately bring what Serg brought but he should be NHL ready. If they want picks then it's gonna be alot easier to find a trade partner.

Norlinder may have surpassed even Romanov on Habs prospects lists, but I agree, a 1st rounder would need to be added. Fleury and Mete are simply fodder. Danault, you can argue, works better for TB as he'll be much cheaper than Cirelli this year.
However, Sergachev though is an elite player. Norlinder maybe elite one day but we don't know yet.
Need to add a 1st rounder there, absolutely.
Killorn is a cap casualty that could get a 2nd rounder. So add a 1st and 2nd rounder to the offer. Don't think it's a good deal for TB but they need to make some kind of cost cutting move.

I'm just happy that an offer sheet wasn't created here. Tiresome.

Habs wont offer that. Caulfield alone is worth more

I'm actually not shocked. A terrible organization overrating their own players. Not shocking. The Habs would never offer that package, it's laughable

Ofcourse I'm exaggerating I just wanted to see what response I was gonna get from DET fans. I'm half shocked cause they would indeed be risking losing Gally. If I was to offer just the picks to SJ for Meier they'd run with it. Gally resigning witj SJ is more probable.

Id throw in the 2022 1st but I can't see myself giving a 2nd also. I'm giving them an opportunity to reinsert Johnson that should count for something.
