Kahun will be more expensive than that. I also have no idea why buffalo didn’t qualify him so apparently every team loses the kahun trades

I have no idea why Kahun was let go. I would let many players on the roster go before him.

Such a bad move to not give a QO. Pathetic and cheap franchise.

Fingers crossed they get something done. GMKA said they we're having ongoing contract negotiations but I'm not super optimistic.

I’ll believe it when I see it. The Pegulas aren’t known for their integrity.

according to reports by pittsburgh he has attitude problem. That was the main reason why Pittsburgh moved him. He apparently was hard on coaching staff causing tension. Apparently the same thing was happening with Buffalo which is why they didnt qualify him.

He played 6 games. There is a low chance they identified it that fast.

you will have to find it the report was first discussed during the trade deadline back in February. In general though it was the main reason why Chicago and Pittsburgh moved on from him.

This simply doesn't make sense. Kahun only had 6 games with us which is not nearly enough to determine whether he would fit well or not. His QO was not large, I think it was 1.3 mil? Something like that. Regardless. Kevyn Adams doesn't seem like the kind of GM to just let a RFA like that walk, but then again he's only been our GM for a couple months so I have no real idea. Perhaps they wanted to sign him for less than his QO (real cheap skates) and therefore didn't give him an QO. Risky unless Kahun said he was okay with it. I could envision a 1 year 1 mil deal or something and after that he'd still be RFA for us. Hoping and praying cause no idea if Kevyn Adams is a brillant GM or a boom/bust like Botterill.

I believe his QO was $835K or whereabouts above $1M. Not like Montour at $3.525M. Kahun is a solid and productive 3LW under Olofsson and Skinner. The Pegula's are a joke. He's probably asking for $2M. I'd give him almost $3M. Joke...
