St. Louis said multiple times they're not paying Pietrangelo that much. I honestly feel bad for Blues fans accepting that not paying their captain what he's worth will get him to stay even though he wants to be a Blue for life.

Leafs pass. Parayko would be a good fit, but unless there's someone to fill the 3C spot, Kerfoot won't be moved. Centres are arguably more important than defence, and Leafs have no depth at centre to be moving a NHL ready centre

Seems like Kerfoot is mentioned in a ton of Leafs rumors. I’m going to guess you’re a Leafs fan that knows what you’re talking about.

They just took a 2nd for Marc Staal. Plus Stevie Y. owes Army a little bit for Fabbri. Detroit has space, may even extend Bozak for cheaper if he’s a good fit.

That's not really how it works my man. 2nd for bozak and a 3rd for gunner. These moves do not help the wings in anyway, if you need the cap space it's gonna cost you. We are rebuilding, not taking 30 year olds for free cause you think we have the cap space.

2020 3rd and a 2022 2nd. Or you give us your first and we'll take steen and bozak

Steener isn’t going to waive to die in DET. A 3rd for Gunny? We’ll just keep him, damn.

So is Eichel. Rumours don't mean everything. Like I said, Kerfoot may get moved. But not if Toronto doesn't have a 3C ready to take his place. After Matthews and Tavares they have Spezza (not a 3C type player) and that's it.

I like the Leaf trade for Parayko. That would be a game changer. As for replacing the 3C on the Leafs, there will be a number of players available who could slot into that role for less than Kerfoot. Don't get me wrong, I like him, but I would rather have Joe Thornton in that slot for 2 million or less. 3C , 4C and Left Wingers are easier to find than 1C,2C and Right Wingers.
