Don't need more LHD, so stop trading them to Toronto. Behind Nashville and Tampa our LHD core is likely the best in the league. You could MAYBE argue Colorado as well depending on if Byram makes a large impact in his first year.

Decent value for Laine. The Jets would need to be convinced that Pesce has fully recovered from his surgery with no ill effects and that Necas can actually be successful as a center, but those aside that is a good start. I think the Jets would want a 2020 first instead of Rees though.

I don't know if Carolina can afford to lose Pesce though.

Their first is 13th overall...no matter how you think it, I think adding that is too much.

I understand that, but Winnipeg is in no hurry to trade Laine, if they move him at all and Pesce and Necas high have question marks. It's good value as I said and maybe they would take it, I'm just starting what I think the Jets ask for based on the reports we have.
