Well he was drafted 8th overall and he is an elite player so how is he not worth that exactly? I mean he is going to be better then anyone drafted there this year imo.

Not sure about that....but respect your opinion. Where he was drafted has no bearing on current value ... plus he has a fairly sizable contract vs the draftees ELC. There is cap room value to be accounted for here. I believe you'd have a tough time getting this done. It just doesn't seem fairly balanced.

Oh yes the top 6 winger is better than the franchise winger in laf, a potential franchise center in byfield, the elite top line centers in perfetti,lundell,Rossi, elite top line wingers in stuzzle,holtz and Raymond and franchise potential dman in drysdale and elite top paring dman Sanderson

I'm not comparing him to Laf, Byfeild or Stuzle. I know they will all be better. I'm comparing him to guys like Raymond and Holtz. There is no guarantee how good those guys will be. They could be better, but they could also be average middle 6 forwards or Nail Yakupovs. Nylander is worth that pick because he is a proven elite player. Those guys are not
