He’s a 1b at best capable of put quality starts together but wildly inconsistent at best.

He is more than capable of being a starter on a rebuilding team.

He wasn’t capable in Calgary with a good d core playing in front of him and some how he’s going to be better in Detroit

He’s a highly emotional goalie that puts lots of pressure on himself and his game suffers for it, it’s why I don’t see him being a #1 in this league and in Detroit he won’t be able to handle losing every night and he’ll put more pressure on himself to be the difference maker and his game will really suffer, you can correct me if I’m wrong but I’m sure I read somewhere that he battles depression and anxiety and I don’t see being in Detroit helping that issue, not knocking the guy for it I’ve battled them same issues in the past and don’t see losing every night be good for his mental health.

Neither Hall or DeMelo are signing that cheaply with Calgary, And Detroit declines we can do better then Rittich he's not what we need.
