Psssst! Hey kid! Erase this before all the Wild fans tease you about trading Johnsson to them. They already have 600 left-shot forwards on their roster.

Psst. Hey Toronto fans...nobody wants your d-men that don't play goal line to blue line.

You need to price the trade as RFA rights not the player...which means late 4th at best.

Dermott >>>>>>> Gudas today and going forward, and will cost much less than what you've paid Gudas for a few years. Probably a better idea to not make the team worse with more expensive players.

its not clear dermott is in the league in 3 years. he can't defend. looks like a headless chicken in his own zone...

Exaggeration bud.

Dominated on 3rd pair as a 21 & 22 yo (as pretty well any stat will backup). Struggled for a few months coming off a major injury (tends to happen).

Stepped up in top role at end of year and kept his head above water against some strong teams.

I've watched every game. Every player in the league can get caught running around at some point. If he was as bad as you are describing, he would not have graduated from the Marlies.

He struggled coming off a major injury which cost him his whole summer and the start of the season, that's clearly clouding your judgement. Played well down the stretch when he had to step up.

Edmonton's 4th this season or maybe Vegas's 3rd next season anything more isn't worth it.

Yes, Toronto again got bounced even despite playing such amazingly, stupendous, brilliant, clearly the best, the most stellar defense against an offensive juggernaut like Columbus ....it's why the team has been rebuilding since 1969. No one wants the Toronto media's hyped d-men on the team. They don't play defense and a team like Columbus that was among the worst offensive teams in the NHL made them look bad. So yes it is very accurate: you just are in denial. Enjoy Maple Leaf elimination day in 2021. I can even tell you why it happens already: their defense doesn't shut down the opponent in the playoffs.

It's 1967.

You going to be alright there?

No it's 1969.

Try reading with comprehension. Won in 1967. Missed the playoffs in '68. Rebuilding then occurs. So yes rebuilding since 1969. As you don't rebuild right after you win a Cup--unless you're Du(m)bas(s) and put the team in such cap peril that you can't go forward with it.
