Overpay for Kuzy. Johnny return would have to be TK+Frost+2nd, we don't need Ghost. Ryan can be dumped to several teams without retention for a 3rd or 4th

This doesn't make sense for the Flyers Johnny is a great player but it's a loss of two huge assets to the future for a guy who I don't think really pushes the needle that much further. As much as I understand why you would want Konecny as part of the return I think they view him as an untouchable piece.

If you are looking for TK and Frost, that’s an easy decline.

Tk Frost and a 2nd would be an insane overpayment for 2 years of Gaudreau

Cool, you don't get Gaudreau then 🤷‍♂️

Even better... you’re fan base seems mesmerized by the idea of sending him here because *south jersey*. Maybe instead look for a team that needs a top end winger. Edmonton comes to mind.

I mean I've seen a helluva lot more Philly ACGMs trading for him cuz they think they can get him for two guys that haven't developed as planned and a pick. I understand not needing him because you can use the space to address other, more serious needs, I just don't know why people think a bona fide superstar that the team likes and hasn't requested a trade, with term left at an affordable price, will get dealt for spare parts, or a downgrade and a throw in. A team looking to acquire him will have to give up a lot, and if they aren't willing to do that that's fine, no hard feelings, you just don't get Gaudreau. I mostly just want these ridiculous trade offers to stop, regardless of which fanbase is proposing them.

The disconnect is the perception that you all are running him out of town. We don’t need a LW and you arent putting him on block so we’re good.

Kuznetsov for Monahan, 1st, 2nd

If Calgary offered this Washington would be silly not to take it. Monahan is 2.5 years younger and $1.4M cheaper. Monahan also puts up basically the same points even though Washington is a much more north-style team.

I actually think that you could probably remove the 1st. Kuznetsov for Monahan, 2nd
