No, it’s a very fair deal. Myers would make it a gross overpay, it even already is

We don't need LD though. And if you're trading for established superstars you sacrifice young assets that might be good to go for it while you have the chance, that's how the NHL works.

If Myers is in the deal (which he’s close to untouchable) it reduces Calgary’s return immensely.

Fair doesn't get Gaudreau off our team though. If I offered Hanifin, Mangiapane, and a 1st for Couturier would you accept that? That seems like a more than fair deal to me but I'd imagine you'd want more considering you're a playoff team and all, despite there being 2 established NHLers in that deal, and the only one in the deal you proposed might not even make our lineup.

Couturier is far more valuable than Gaudreau, one. And two, that’s a horrendous trade proposal. You obviously overvalue your own players because Mangiapane doesn’t even play on our third line when Patrick and Lindblom are playing, and hanifin would be our third LD
