If Columbus was willing to give up korp for AA then korp would be in Detroit obviously wasn’t on the table then and I don’t see any reason for Columbus to suddenly think that is a wise choice now.

To be fair habs fans are the ones that have expressed the most interest in him and do include him in a lot too so makes sense for oilers fans to go with it.

I’m not going to jump down you’re throat but Ehlers was the jets best forward this year (or very close with Scheifele at least) and Nurse isn’t really the type of defenceman we need. We have a lot of defensive prospects and money to spend so jets respectfully decline.

I’m not sure why everyone finds russell and Larson so easy to cast aside.... that blueline looks a lot softer and if a single one of them is capable of clearing the crease or push anyone around. All are either small or softer players. Need some grit back there to defend the goalies space.

Leafs would trade the 1st for Larson maybe not with Liljgren but maybe another prospect. What are you going to do with a prospect draft a right shot defence like Schneider? He is a carbon copy of larson.

All of the trades favour Oilers considerably. Why the those players traded away from Oilers going to be such different makers to their new teams?

Another point about Chiasson is he is terrific on pp. Certainly help upgrade in that area more so than a lot of the middle six options currently on Montreal.

. It’s a cap crunch haula won’t get more than he got last year. Ennis signed for that last year and Barrie didn’t do well with the leafs so nobody is going to jump on him for 6 million. Maybe they give him 4.5 and haula 3. It still fits.

Don't you find absurd that Barrie signs for 4m, but the Leafs have to trade a first and Liljegren for one year of 4.1 Larsson? Larsson certainly isn't worth that. The Leafs would 10 times spending 4m on any Dman...maybe DeMelo.

I think Haula will get 3 like you said, but I think Barrie will get 5 min, if not 6 and Ennis will get 1.5 My Opinion though....

. Goalies don’t typically go for that much on the trade market and there are lots of FAs at least Columbus gets something. Give a 4th for chiasson whatever. Toronto has several puck moving defence on left side in Reilly and muzzin, they need a good right shot defensive defenseman. Nurse needs to get a 1st line left wing.

Totally an overpay for one year of Larsson....you must know that. Leafs don't have the cap to take on 4.1m in salary and only trade away 925,000.
