With that Contract, would rather try the Offer Sheet route for Cirelli (2021 1st, 2021 3rd). Don't care about losing Howden, but would get to hold onto Kravtsov.

Correct. I have created Offer Sheet proposals in the past for Cirelli, of which I only went for 5 years at the same AAV, rather than 7. That's why I left the 2nd out.

yeah, personally would rather pay from a point of strength (RW) to lock in the deal and get 3 full UFA years bought out for the same cap than just get 1 UFA year out of it.

If we're fortunate to get one of Amirov/Mysak/Peterka to fall to the Canes pick, we pretty much have a Kravtsov replacement anyway.

And I like to keep at least 1 Right shot on each line.

Tampa declines on that. They already traded Howden and wouldn't be taking him back in place of Cirelli. Kravtsov is nice, but doesn't do it as the main piece since RW is not a position Tampa really is in need of help at. If the trade starts with Chytil( a potential future replacement for Cirelli), Lundkvist( a good rhd prospect at a position that Tampa could use the help) or Fox(better young rhd, but most unrealistic since he wants to stay in NY and he's usually not on the table) then there could be something. Tampa wouldn't do it for pieces they really don't need and/or aren't interested in though.

Great, Cirelli has no desire to leave so an OS has basically no chance of working. It's getting funny on here how when a crap offer for Serg or Cirelli is declined by Tampa all we hear is OS this, OS that. Gl with that though. If Tampa is going to move this type of player, it's going to take a quality elc player at a position Tampa needs, as Tampa is in the middle of their window and could care less about future lottery tickets and just ok prospects at these positions. Tampa has no want or need to move them, so it's going to take a trade Tampa wants. Once that is realized perhaps a fair offer can happen. Until then, Tampa will continue to decline and keep their very talented 2C.
