Treliving should certainly have interest in the player, and I'd say Ryan is available in the right deal. But I don't think this one works. Sounds like Talbot is likely to return to CGY, and he's probably earned himself a $3.5M x 2-year contract, so that eats up a bit more cap space. Flames could flip Ryan and his AAV for a pick and sign a UFA goalie.
