Danault is unavailable. He brings much much more on the ice than is value on the market. It's been 2 years in a row he is top 10 in the selke votes and he showed he is a defensive master since the playoffs started while bringing a good amount of offense. You can ask for Drouin or Domi they are definitely on the market after these playoffs. Even in trade situations, I don't think Bergevin will be looking for picks this offseason, we already have a pretty prospect pool and a bunch of picks, we have no use for it and he'll be looking to add/make some change to the group already in place.

If Reinhart gets that much I might pull my hair out. If he gets anything over $6 million a year it’s an eight year deal. Lazar and Girgensons should get about $1 million less combined. Thompson and Mittelstadt will both get the chance to make this team. Like everyone else says Montreal is not moving Danault.
