You have traded a player on a good contract for three years at his lowest value for a dman that will get injured immediately and go to free agency. And now you have no right-hand dman to replace him in the top four because you got rid of your 2million dollar one that was serviceable next to your top defensive player because of cap dump for picks that will not matter. And you cap dump your other player for cap space and only saved 1million because you signed a player that can't do anything but score- and he does not even do that well (I don't think you have watched Galchenyuk). But you know. At least it's new depth.

For the last time Kerfoot isn’t going to NJ. 1. He was drafted by us and didn’t want to sign there. 2. Why would we trade a younger and better player in Zacha. Dermott for the third is alright but no chance we trade Zacha for kerfoot
