The Toronto deal seems like a bit much from the Ducks and no chance the Jets move a 1st for a 30 year old.

Can’t see any interest in Gudbranson from a Leafs perspective. As with most fans, I would be more interested in Manson. Drop the 1st and Gudbranson and add Manson. To me that is fair.

Then ANA declines.

If they perform like they should, that pick could be 25-31, which is reasonable for a 30 goals scorer

Gudbranson is garbage. him not being on Anaheim automatically helps Anaheim.

@Teemu_salami we are bad and need rhd. Having Gudbranson is alright. Funny you say garbage. I say decent placeholder. Plus, he only has one year left so it doesn't have that much negative value.

@SevenLeg Although this is close Rakell puts this way over the top. Rakell could easily replace Nylander in that top 6 and could play minutes at center decently unlike Nylander. Replace Rakell with a b/c prospect and Gudbranson with Manson(little retention) Call it a day.

I would much rather sign Vatanen than Barrie. And he would probaby come in cheaper that Barrie. Vats had great chemistry with Fowler and Manson is ideal for Lindholm.

I like the nylander trade. Toronto will get into the first round. and save on salary. And this gives the ducs a top flight winger that isnt afraid to shoot the puck.
