They need a cost controlled RHD more than anything. Fox fits the bill probably better than anyone.

Yeah it's a huge price to pay but it's sort of a high risk high reward deal if he pulls through.

I want to be careful with wording don’t want to sound insulting towards fox the only issue I’m stumbling over is paying that significant of a price for a player that doesn’t have 100 games under his belt. Maybe I’m not contributing enough value from buch or the second I’m not sure. Not suggesting rangers run away with this offer either I guess I’m just really thrown back by this one not sure what to think. I’m gonna keep an eye on the comments tho. I don't understand why NYR would possibly want to trade Fox. Was one of the very few bright spots they had defensively, is only getting better, and is on an ELC for 2 more years which is very important with the flat cap. It would make more sense for them to trade Deangelo but I'm not even sure they would do that. That being said, Cirelli and Sergachev are pretty close in value with him imo, so if they were to trade him that would be a pretty solid return.
