So basically nothing really interesting to let go off Lafreniere... I mean some of them are good prospect but nobody listed is projected as a top player in the NHL.

Which is unreasonable. Lafreniere isn't worth two future top 6 centers one of them with superstar potential.

I agree with this. But I also agree that Kupari, Clague, or Thomas isn't enough incentive for them to move down.

I suspect the actual price would be the #2 and Kaliyev or Bjornfot. Perhaps they could get away with Fagemo.

I think both fan bases would be upset with that return, which leads me to believe that's closer to the actual cost.

No it doesn't. The gap between Lafreniere and Byfield isn't huge. It will all depend on the Rangers and if they are willing to draft for need and get compensation for it or roll with 3 top 6 LW's and lack center depth until they figure out someone else.

For once we agree BF... if they really want a center we can offer a 2nd rounder and a prospect like Kupari or akil. Draft day of course, because Blakey is shrewd. We hold the the cards in this scenario.
